1. Every entry will include: Something OLD, something NEW, something BORROWED & something BLUE.
   (Ideas: an OLD bead, BLUE thread or bead, NEW design or newly learned technique, BORROW a needle from a friend.)
    
   
2. Staff & Designers at Bead-Patterns.com as well as their family members will not enter.
    
   
3. Limited to 3 entries per person.
    
   
4. Entry was created in 2002.
    
   
5. Entry has not been published in a book, magazine or other contest.
    
   
6. Entry will be predominately created with beads.
    
   
7. Entrant is the CREATOR and holds all legal rights to the entry.
   If using a copyrighted pattern, it is the Entrant's responsibility to get the appropriate permission for use.
    
   
8. Entrant grants permission to Bead-Patterns.com for use of the graphic and information provided (advertising purposes and displaying in the CONTEST GALLERY).
    
   
9. Entrant will provide 1 JPG or GIF file meeting the following specifications:
   Make this image (JPG or GIF) the best you can. Be creative in presentation, 1 image can be a collage of 2-3-4 images, showing various angles or close up's of a specific section.
   
   1 image file, GIF or JPG will be displayed in the CONTEST GALLERY:
   File name must be 8 characters or less with a dot and 3 letter extension of jpg. example: MGonzale.jpg or MGonzale.gif (no spaces or special characters).
   Mode for JPG: RGB
   Mode for GIF: Indexed (a gif file can be transparent)
   Resolution: 72 DPI
   Size: 5" x 5" or smaller (360 x 360 pixels)
   File size: less than 30KB
    
   
   *In the event the image (JPG or GIF) does not meet the proper specifications the image may be altered to meet the proper specifications by the staff at Bead-Patterns.com.
    
   **The graphic provided is important.. this along with the description/information will help voters decide what they like best.
    
   
10. Entrant will provide the following information:
    
    Entrant's Name (not to be displayed until Contest Voting is Closed).
    The appropriate Category, see Category definitions
    Country
    Date entry was completed
    Entry title
    Entry description (should include information as to how the criteria is met; old, new, borrowed, & blue)
    Stitch(es) used for entry
    Beads used in entry
    Approximate finished size of entry
     
    
11. A $5.00 entry fee is required, prior to the acceptance of each entry.
    The entry fee may be paid by on-line Credit Card at our secure site at: On-Line Payment.

12. Entrant understands that adding the entry & information to the CONTEST GALLERY signifies the acceptance of all rules, terms & conditions set forth for this contest.

13. Entrant understands the final entry date is: October 28, 2002 Midnight MST.
     
    
14. Entrant will provide true and accurate information when entering this contest.
