| "When the emerald green daggers are strung together they remind me of the boughs of a Christmas tree." I created this Christmas necklace using Czech glass emerald green dagger beads 16mm, Czech glass 11/0, 8/0 and 6/0 silver seed beads, Swarovski 8x6mm green AB rondelles, Swarovski 6x4mm green rondelles and silver plated daisy spacer beads and 4mm silver plated round spacer beads. The toggle clasp is a scroll design and is silver plated. I created the earrings to look like tree ornaments. The lever back earring hooks are silver plated. |

| This ornament is based on a pattern designed by Paula Adams ("Russian ornament") and was made by me as a gift for a dear person who lives in Tuscany (Italy), hence the title. This is a self supported ornament (hollow inside) and it's stitched using a combination of tubular peyote stitch (with increases and decreases) and fringes. I think this is not only an holiday ornament, but also some sort of amulet that you can look at when you're sad. It reminds me of a sparkling princess' dress and of the charm of the children's Christmas. Pattern designed by Paula Adams, published in Bead & Button December 2006, pp. 102-105. |

As for the materials, for the core part of the work I used cylinder beads size 11/0 in four different colours, taking inspiration from the colourful world of the fairy tales; for the fringes I chose a mix of cylinder beads 11/0, 4 mm Czech firepolished beads, 3 and 4 mm Swarovski crystal bicones (one of these also stands on the top of the ornament), 3mm Swarovski crystal round beads and glass drops.

| There is no pattern or any other piece of jewelry like it. It is my own original design. Semi-precious Citrine chips on a 17" choker.The pendant is made of Mother of Pearl buttons with pieces of Jade on the front and back. The connecting wire has aqua glass seed beads on them. A clear tan glass tear drop is suspended from the bottom of each hole in each button. It has a silver lobster claw clasp and a charm made with alternating Citrine and Jade chips and aqua glass seed bead spacers. |
