The timeless elegance of bead knitting on silky perle cotton combined with the ageless beauty of Czech satin tri-cut seed beads embrace the wrist with velvety softness. Turquoise Dream
I had some large turquoise beads that I noticed were rather flat. I sanded down one side to make them flatter and used these beads as cabachons. First, I made three beaded beds. Then I mounted the bead-cabs with a peyote stitch bezel. I embellished these with small turquoise chip-beads in varying sizes. I joined each peice together with some silver and gold spacer bars. To close the bracelet, I wove a "strap" with "tongue" on one side and made a beaded buckle on he other side. There is a hidden snap to help keep it closed.
