Metallic Peyote Bracelet
I saw some beaded beads with this design and decided to make a bracelet with the same design in metallic delica beads. Some of the beads are galvanized so the whole thing is painted, both sides, with a water-based, gloss varnish, so that the color won't rub off. I used two strong gold-fill magnets for the clasps.

This fun loomed bracelet shows the contrast between the organic shapes of the rocks and the ordered, structural lines of beads, just as the contrast between manmade structures and natural formations is timeless. I drew inspiration from art deco buildings, Japanese rock gardens, and nature. I chose soft colors to give the bracelet a timeless feminine charm.

The base of the bracelet is a combination of single and 2 drop peyote in different sizes of seed beads and delicas. The embellishments are vintage pressed glass trims and swarovsky crystals. This is a reflection of my gardens in winter.
