| Lady
Columbine |
Being a doll
artist, this contest was a challenge for me. But I was inspired by
the beauty of Deb's Columbine panel. I adore her flower panels and
thought that creating a doll from one of them would be so lovely! To
create the doll figure, I used the panel upside-down. A collar, a
head, some arms and boots and all she needed was some "pretties". A
jeweled sash across her chest, some bells on her shoulders, a
ruffle on the bottom of her dress, bobbles on the backs of her
boots, a butterfly that just landed on her dress to check out the
beautiful flowers and she was all set to be the belle of the
ball. |
