Lily Kimono
I built the stand to show off sun catchers but found that the Lilly of the Valley Kimono, would sit well inside it. You could place this infront of a sunny window with a few pairs of your favorite earrings and watch it sparkle. I used the colours that I had and addapted the pattern to fit those colours.

Elegant Evening Bag
When I came across this contest, I tried to think of a way
to show the flower panels that would be a little different.

I took the Pink Cyclamen, Pansies, and Sweet Peas
panels and adjusted the colors so that the blues, pinks,
and purples in the flowers would be the same colors.
I then adjusted a purse pattern to have six beaded
panels (two of each flower) and six plain panels. After
creating all the panels, they were stitched to the purse.
Each panel has an Austrian crystal and frosted glass
drop at the point. I added fringe of seed and bugle
beads, glass drops, and more austrian crystals.

Thank you for your consideration.

White Cyclamen Bookmark
I had never seen Cyclamen in a color other than pink
before this past Thanksgiving holiday. In honor of that,
I modified the Pink Cyclamen pattern and replaced
the light pink with white, dark pink with ivory, and the
white centers with yellow (white flowers with white
centers would be a little silly ).

I thought the best way to show off this panel would
be as a bookmark with quartz, hematine, and austrian
crystals hanging from a pewter bookmark.

IRIS - FLEUR-DE-LIS
I really like Deb's Iris Flower panel. I'm also very fond of the Fleur-de-lis. This is what I came up with to bring them together. I wanted to try the panel with a white background to see how it would change the peice. This can be hung as a mini wall tapestry or in front of a votive candle. I love how the candle light is reflected in the various transparent beads I used in Iris panel.

Evening Out
I originally planned on using 10 panels, but I soon realized time wasn,t going to be my friend, so I had to downsize some. The bag didn,t turn out like I planned at first, but it still looks nice for an evening on the town , and someday my skills & abilities will catch up to the vision I create in my head( I Hope!)

Her garden always had flowers in the border. I really liked eating the carrots, dirt and all. But these flowers sure made a nice hidyplace.

Sunflower Sutra
I fell in love with Deb's sunflower pattern -- my favorite flower! In my mind I could see it as a flirty dress for a garden sprite. After beading the pattern I added aventurine rounds and peyote stitched arms on silver wire, then topped her off with a polymer clay cabochon face and beaded "petals". Swarovski crystal drops complete her ensemble. I stitched the pattern as an amulet bag so that she can be stuffed with potpourri. Her name is taken from the title of one of my favorite poems.

Lady Columbine
Being a doll artist, this contest was a challenge for me. But I was inspired by the beauty of Deb's Columbine panel. I adore her flower panels and thought that creating a doll from one of them would be so lovely! To create the doll figure, I used the panel upside-down. A collar, a head, some arms and boots and all she needed was some "pretties". A jeweled sash across her chest, some bells on her
shoulders, a ruffle on the bottom of her dress, bobbles on the backs of
her boots, a butterfly that just landed on her dress to check out the
beautiful flowers and she was all set to be the belle of the ball.
