This little box
was constructed using the triangular box graph provided by Julia
Pretl in her book, "Little Boxes".
The pattern is based on
the Sweetpea Flower Panel by Deb Moffet-Hall.
I divided the
sweetpea pattern into three parts - one for each color sweetpea -
blue, purple, and yellow. I added another column of beads to the
pattern so that the lowest point of the pattern was centered. I
centered each main flower and extended their stems to curve around
and meet at the bottom center of the box.
I added sections
of flowers and tendrils to enable the pattern to flow smoothly from
one side of the box to the next.
If you look at the box from
the top when it is tilted, you can see a front view of one flower on
the inside of the box and side angle views of each of the other
flowers on the sides.
