Welcome Home!
This contest immediately made me think of a home that welcomes everyone. The design is my own - I sketched it out on the backing material to use as a guideline while I beaded. Every house needs a cat, so you can see there is one waiting for you in the window!

The non-bead items are the butterfly button, the "stepping stones" of the walkway and the acetate used for the pane of glass in the window.

Stitch

Bead embroidery using several different stitches. Branch fringe for the leaves in the tree.
